A Week at the Hannover Messe

It has been a great week for ASI and our sister company Omics2Image at the Hannover Messe! We spotted Rutte and Merkel, displayed our innovationative products at the Holland High Tech Stand and walked around on the largest industry fair of the world. At the last day, CEO Hans Roeland Poolman and Ron Heeren had a conversation with the State Secretary of Education, Culture and Science, Sander Dekker, about ASI and Omics2Image. ASI @ Bits&Chips 2013 Embedded Systems

Thursday November 7th, ASI will participate in the Bits&Chips 2013 event, which connects firms and research institutes who use and produce embedded system software. We will be occupying a stand and Chris Desjardins, employed as embedded software engineer at ASI, will be presenting ASI’s and Omics2Image’s use of the Timepix chip. The event will take place at the 1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. We’re looking foward to the event and hope to welcome and inform those interested about our software use!

ASI at IEEE in Seoul

Upcoming october, Amsterdam Scientific Instruments will be participating in the 2013 IEEE, the Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference, Room-Temperature Semiconductor X-Ray and Gamma-Ray Detectors workshop in Seoul, Korea.

ASI Roadmap Advanced Intrumentation

The 3rd of June the head of High-Tech System Platforms (HTSP), Amandus Lundqvist, received the Roadmap Advanced instrumentation in the presence of its participants, of which ASI is one. Hans Roeland Poolman represented ASI during this event. Mr. Lundqvist stated that the Netherlands have a strong position due to the cooperation of scientific research institutes and the accompanied industries. Moreover, he predicted that this roadmap will end in the development of groundbreaking technologies.
