Hyperion captures particle arrival time, position, and intensity at the same time, giving a complete view of velocity-map imaging, mass spectrometry, and time-of-flight measurements. Its multi-hit, dead-time-free operation suits experiments where many particles arrive in quick succession.
Two configurations are available. The Quad-Pico (512x512 pixels, 320 Mhits/s, 1.56 ns time bin) integrates 3 ps timestamping with PicoTDC for high-throughput, high-precision ion and electron imaging. The TPX4 version (512x448 pixels, up to 1.2 Ghits/s, 195 ps time bin) is a Timepix4-based detector for high-throughput direct electron imaging.
