Telesto/LumaCAM observes light from neutron scintillators to support neutron scattering and radiography. Because each pixel counts and time-stamps individual photons, it records data only when illuminated, which keeps data volumes proportional to the measured signal.
Two configurations are available. Telesto Single (256x256 pixels, up to 80 million hits per second) suits neutron diffraction and imaging on standard reactor and accelerator sources. Telesto Quad (512x512 pixels, up to 320 million hits per second) suits high-flux, large-area imaging with scintillators up to 25x25 cm at sources such as ILL or ESS.
